In this topic we provide basic documentation about how you quickly connect a PostgreSQL database to MS Power BI.
We provide no further support regarding this topic.
Open Microsoft Power BI and select "other data source" in order to select PostgreSQL-database as the source.
Enter "Connect".
Enter the server name and the database name (in our example "Localhost" and "octopus_power_bi").
Click "OK".
Next you will see an overview of all tables available in the database.
Select the tables you would like to retrieve. Click "Load" to transfer the data.
